Tan Kim Leng
Tan Kim Leng, our Advisor, has more than 30 years of consulting and training experience and has led many consulting engagements in the area of strategic digital planning, digital transformation, smart city, digital government, business process re-engineering, data and knowledge management and change facilitation programmes.
Spanning more than three decades of professional career, he consulted widely for organisations both in public and the private sectors including organisations such as Ministry of Manpower, Ministry of Law, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Home Affairs, Singapore Police Force, Immigration and Checkpoint Authority, Singapore Telecom, Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore, Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore, and Infocomm Asia Holdings. In the Financial sector, he has worked extensively to drive transformation initiatives with United Overseas Bank, Singapore Exchange, Asian Fund Services, and the State Bank of Vietnam.
Kim Leng’s international experience includes countries such as Fiji, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Tanzania, Botswana, Zambia, Namibia, Malawi, Vietnam, Cambodia, Brunei, Malaysia, Philippines, Bangladesh, Mauritius, Panama, Cayman Islands and Bahamas. He has been engaged by several international organisations such as the World Bank, United Nation Development Programme (UNDP), Asian Development Bank (ADB), and Asian Productivity Organisation (APO) to provide technical assistance to these countries.
As a highly sought-after advisor and corporate trainer, Kim Leng has led many executive workshops addressing senior executives from leading institutions and senior executives from the region and beyond. He is an adjunct lecturer/associate trainer for Singapore Civil Service College and Singapore Cooperation Enterprise.
Kim Leng is currently an advisor to a number of international projects facilitating policy and governance decisions. He was the Advisor to national projects on Digital Government Transformation, Smart National Identity implementation and Ease of Doing Business initiatives in Vietnam, Tanzania, Mauritius, Fiji and Namibia. He co-authored the management book titled “Leading Change that Matters – Making Adoption a Reality” with Dr. Nancy Harkrider. He is a certified ACTA Trainer conferred by Singapore Institute of Management (SIM) and a Quality Analyst conferred by the Quality Assurance Institute (QAI), USA.
