Jonson Chong

Jonson Chong is a seasoned consultant with a wealth of experience across various sectors and industries. As a skilled speaker, moderator, policy analyst, legal advisor and mediator, Jonson excels in critical areas such as law, marketing, sales, customer service, management, and leadership. His expertise also extends to communications and policy analysis, enabling him to deliver comprehensive and impactful solutions. 

Jonson's professional journey began in law. Cumulatively, Jonson practised law for over a decade, including a stint with Karpal Singh & Co., one of the leading law firms in Malaysia. His passion for public service led him into national politics, where he made significant contributions as the Organising Secretary of Parti Rakyat Malaysia (2000) and the Communications Director of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (2009). 

In 2012, Jonson shifted to the education sector, heading the School of Business and Law at KDU University College. He further expanded his impact in the education sector at GEMS International School, Penang, driving parent engagement and enrolment in 2016. Later, he filled the role of the Director for Corporate Affairs at the Fairview Education Group in 2019. Finally, in 2023, he was appointed as Director (in the role of a consultant) of the K2 School of Business and Design at Saito University College. 

Now, as Director for Corporate Services at Endeavour, Jonson works closely with the Fiji government through the Project Management team in Fiji. His role involves strategic collaboration and management, ensuring the effective execution of key initiatives that align with national objectives. 

Jonson integrates his extensive professional background with deep insights in psychology and philosophy to offer innovative and effective solutions. His multidisciplinary approach empowers participants with essential skills like critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and comprehensive communication, fostering sustainable success. 

A firm advocate of foundational skills in management and leadership, Jonson’s programs emphasize holistic development. He holds a BCom–LLB double degree from the University of New South Wales (1995) and a master's degree in Human Rights Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), a degree he earned under a prestigious Chevening Scholarship in 1999.
